Nothing says Valentine’s Day like chocolate. Check out my interview with Deborah Reinhardt, author of Delectable Destinations: A Chocolate Lover’s Guide to Missouri, on Huffington Post. And the photos? Oh, the photos!Read All Entries
I love Pinterest.
When I say that – which I do often and which is obvious to my Facebook friends from my seemingly endless pinning activity – some people want to know why. They just don’t see the appeal, and I can totally understand that because, at first, I didn’t, either. Until I saw the light — or, rather, the enlightening “Art Journals,” “Great Libraries” and “Tea Shoppes and Patisseries” boards.
This is so true! I found this quote on Pinterest (my new obsession, which I will write about in detail soon) and had to share it with you. I repinned it from Shop Around the Corner but it originally came from Pretty Books (both of which I think I’m also obsessed with now).
I have a stack of books on my bedside table, and look forward to getting into bed and reading a little before I go to sleep every night. I’m sad to say that I just finished Wild, which I absolutely loved and can’t wait to interview author Cheryl Strayed. I hate when I get to the end of a book like this because I just really miss reading it!
Tonight, though, I’m excited about starting Carry the One by Carol Anshaw. It’s gotten fantastic reviews.
I’d love to know what you’re looking forward to reading tonight. Which book is awaiting you at the end of a long day?

Everything’s more fun when it’s personal – including Monopoly! Wouldn’t you be more motivated to win if you could land on that cute little bed and breakfast you stayed at in Tuscany or the five star Paris hotel where you celebrated your birthday?
Photo-opoly gives you the opportunity to create your own board game, using your favorite photos. You can base your game around a theme like vacation or graduation, dedicate it for a birthday or anniversary, or fill it with pictures that simply represent a year in the life.
And forget about jail. On my board, I’m going directly to Hawaii.
