c is for cheryl strayed. the “wild” giveaway!

Wild - Reese with backpack

Wild was one of my favorite books ever, and I know many of you felt the same way when you read it.

Cheryl Strayed’s story of hiking the 1100 mile Pacific Crest Trail by herself is so empowering, and I loved getting to interview her when it was first published.

With the highly-anticipated movie version coming out today, there’s already Oscar buzz for Reese Witherspoon, who takes on the role of Cheryl so completely, it’s hard to remember this gritty, potty-mouthed rebel once played the pretty-in-pink Elle Woods.

Wild posterTo celebrate the film’s release, I’m giving away a great Wild prize package, which includes:

* a $50 Visa gift card to see the movie

* a copy of the book

* a copy of the official soundtrack (which, by the way, is fantastic)
