As we’ve seen more and more lately, families come in all forms.
I am blessed to have been born into an amazing family, to have married into another one and to have created one of my own. I’ve also been lucky enough to have picked up a lot of additional “family” members along the way — all of whom act as my guardian angels in so many ways.
So when I was invited to be one of 533 bloggers to exclusively debut the trailer for Delivery Man, starring Vince Vaughn, I naturally started thinking about my blogging family. (You’ll understand the significance of the 533 when you watch the trailer, below.)
I consider all of you members of my blogging family, for sure. You inspire me, you make me want to write, and your comments, “likes” and “shares” mean more to me than I can express. I am so grateful for you.
The rest of my blogging family is made up of, well, other bloggers – especially the women of Generation Fabulous, who are changing the perception of midlife with their passion, their vitality and their talent. They are the most supportive, encouraging and generous group of women I’ve ever met. And they are hilarious. I wish I had known them when I was getting married 32 years ago because they would have documented the whole event with posts filled with heartfelt insights, clever quotes and pictures of the details everyone else missed – and they’d have figured out how to get it all sponsored. I adore them.
So, as Vince Vaughn’s character vows to nurture and nourish his newfound relatives, I promise to do the same for my blogging family. In the spirit of delivering fresh content and keeping you up to date on what’s new and trending, here’s your first look at Delivery Man, coming out in November. And, because I want you to feel good about yourselves, I will one day write about how my lack of cooking skills led my own kids to believe they actually were related to the delivery man.

That is such a sweet post! I am also one of the 533 bloggers, which is how I found your site. I’m delighted to get to “meet” you!
My own daughter is 7 going on 17, so I’m looking forward to diving in to some of your content.
All the best to you!

Lois, you’re one of the most nurturing bloggers I know. Who cares if you can’t cook! Love your comments about GenFab! (And I want to see the movie, too.)
