Boy, these Wednesdays roll around fast. That quote above is one of my favorite finds of the week, and I present it here as a public service announcement.
If you’re a Yankees fan, you probably feel as sad as I do about Robinson Cano leaving the team for the Mariners. Last night was his first game back in the Bronx and Jimmy Fallon tried to prepare him for the inevitable “boos” by inviting New Yorkers to scream at what they thought was just a poster of him. This video is really more of a prank on the fans, and shows that, regardless of our big mouths, New Yorkers are really big mushballs inside. It’s hilarious.
Speaking of pranks, here’s the best kind: a prank that pays it forward. Love this!
Here’s a social experiment that will make you think, make you tear up, make you open your eyes a little wider.
Enjoy the rest of the week! xo
GREAT quote. GREAT!!!
Love these!!!
Three GREAT videos. I hope everyone watches them.
Love the videos, love the quote, love you!!
Love you right back! xo
gosh great post I find my self looking forwards your Wednesday post for some laughs! thank you
I am a Red Sox fan for life, so anything that messes up the Yankees mojo is ok by me 😉
BOO!
Love that quote at the top! SO TRUE! And those videos are awesome. Thanks for sharing!
WOW these are amazing videos!! Thanks !!!
Gary watched the first video with me – being the loyal SF Giants fan he is (which is what you should be, or the Padres! But I get it!) Funny!
The rest? Love, love, love.
Where DO you find them?
xoxo
I will always be a Yankees fan wherever I live! When you move here, you can try to be a Padres fan but, believe me, it’s almost impossible! xo
I totally want to print out that quote and tape it to my fridge!
Ha ha! I know!
I love that first quote! It actually made me laugh out loud!
Me, too! I hope my husband read it …
Thanks for sharing a laugh. Made my day!
The homeless video didn’t surprise me at all. When I was in the city a lot, I rarely looked directly at the homeless who were sitting around. I felt that unless I was prepared to help, it was intrusive .
I love, love, love the video of the waitress !! It made me tear up!!
Love it, don’t like the fact that we’re preaching towards keeping extra weight. I believe we should live a healthy life, which means eat healthier with less fat.
I laughed out loud from that quote. Too funny! Thanks I needed that.
Ha, ha! Love the quote!
Thank you… I needed all of these today… perfect to bring my spirits up
What a great study LOL!! I guess I will be living longer than my husband for sure LOL!!
LOL the quote, I had to re-read it!
The quote is so true!
That homeless video made me cry. I see how it happens, but it hurts that it happens.
What a great video. The quote holds true as well. Thanks for sharing
Haha! I love that quote up top. That video was great as well.
Awesome videos and I just adore the quote.
My favorite is the pay it forward prank – love to see good in the world!
I saw the one with the waitress before but the others I had not. I’m so emotional now! It’s really sad when you think stuff like that could happen to people you love!
Thanks for stopping by One Road at a Time. I just spent some time browsing your site and I look forward to following. Cheers ~
The homeless video doesn’t surprise. We are so busy thinking about where we are going that it’s easy to pass by someone you know. The same thing could happen if our loved ones weren’t dressed up as homeless
The video with the waitress was fantastic. Nice to watch something awesome happen to a nice person.
I’ve seen the quote a few times this week. Makes me laugh out loud. 🙂
Those videos really made me think. I need to stop being so in my head and enjoy the world around. Love the quote; I think I may live forever!
