crest pro-health takes on tartar

Crest Pro Health

I hate going to the dentist.

Although Dr. G is actually a very nice man and I would be happy to go for coffee with him (which he would probably frown upon because it would stain my teeth), I have had enough tooth issues in my lifetime to dread my annual visits.

Because I would like to see him as little as possible, I am always looking for products that will help keep my mouth in good shape.

So I jumped at the chance to try new Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse. Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection RinseTartar, as I learned the hard way, can’t just be brushed away. I trust Crest Pro-Health because it’s worked for my family, and I especially like the fact that this one is the only mouth rinse that delivers both anti-cavity and anti-tartar benefits. In case that’s not enough, it also freshens breath, fights surface stains and strengthens enamel. It’s so effective, it just may put dentists out of business. (Kidding, Dr. G!)

As I get older, I realize more and more how interconnected everything is and that a healthy mouth is really important to a healthy body.

In fact, Crest Pro-Health has partnered with Dr. Travis Stork, the Emmy-nominated host of TV’s The Doctors, board-certified emergency medicine physician and cutie pie, to remind people to stay active, eat healthy and start now, no matter how old you are. Making small changes, like swapping fruit-infused seltzer water for soda or taking a daily half hour walk, can make a huge difference in the way you age.

So I will be heeding Dr. Stork’s advice and swishing away twice a day with Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse. And, when I smile at Dr. G’s news that I have no cavities , no tartar and that my mouth is looking pretty fine, it will be with strong, healthy teeth.

Be sure to follow Crest Pro-Health on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates and to learn more about dental care.

  1. I am with you! I hate the dentist. I do anything and everything I can to avoid any extra visits. This sounds like a great product!

  2. I am in the love my dentist club (shout out to Drs. Steve and Michael Casagrande in Sacramento CA). I want to make them happy, so will heed your advice.

  3. This looks like a very effective mouthwash! I always dreaded the dentist too until I found the one that we have now! She makes those visits easy and painless every time!

  4. I love my dentist, but he’s getting older and I’m afraid he’ll retire. He’s old-school, takes very good care of me and as much as I HATE even hearing the sound of the drill I know he’s taking care of my family and me. I love Crest and use their products as well as their rinses.

  5. The word dentist makes my gums hurt :-)! I will definitely try this. I build tartar so quickly – maybe this week help. Thanks Lois. We have to keep our smiles in good shape!

  6. I hate going to the dentist too! I need to step up my teeth-care routine, since everything I read says brushing several times a day just doesn’t cut it. Need to look into the crest pro-health more. – Katy

  7. This reminds me, I have my 6 month cleaning coming up! I’ve heard of Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse and have been wanting to try it!

  8. I share your opinion on going to the dentist. My parents didn’t have money to take me when I was little so I had a ton of tooth repairs when I was an adult. As such I hate to go for fear he is going to find something else wrong (although that is rare anymore). I will have to check out this Crest Rinse. Sounds like a great thing to add to my daily hygiene routine.

  9. Although I’m not fond of going to the dentist, I adore mine and his staff who are so warm and kind. But I surely would be interested in keeping that dreaded tartar at bay. Putting this Crest product on my shopping list.

  10. I hate going to the dentist, but I am glad I finally found a good once. However I still do everything I can to keep my teeth healthy and avoid having to see him!

  11. Why is something so easy as taking care of teeth such a pain? I have to do a better job because it’s the easiest thing to let go. Thanks for sharing your experience with Crest Pro-Health.

  12. I hate dentists but is an evil necessity =( at least now you can sleep all your appointment it’s what i do, we love crest here tho

  13. To be honest, my husband doesn’t like Crest. I found a great toothpaste that we always use. All natural ingredients and they have a nice mouthwash too. But yes, teeth care is definitely important!

  14. I grew up with few dental issues and was lucky to avoid them with my first kid. But my second two are giving me a run for my money. luckily dental care is part of socialized medicine here in Israel. need some sort of preventative care for these two and maybe this product is the answer
