I know winter doesn’t officially start for another three weeks but once December hits, it’s on, as far as I’m concerned.
I love winter because, to me, it means sweaters, hot chocolate and snuggling by the fireplace.
I realize that to many other people, it means skiing.
Now, I am totally a fan of ski resorts but the one time I actually tried skiing, I ended up going so fast, the only way I could stop was by falling. After that, I decided I was better off parking myself on a couch in the lodge, wrapped in a wool blanket with a good book, admiring the gorgeous mountain views.
When I attended the TMS Family Travel Conference in September, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to meet Alex de L’Arbre of Ski.com and do my first video interview. She is a doll, and knows everything there is to know about the sport and the best places to go, whether you’re an expert or a novice.
Take a look at the video, ignore my part and concentrate on Alex. She is a wealth of knowledge and may have convinced me to go down that bunny slope again after all these years.
Very good interview.
Thank you, my friend!
Lois! You are a video rock starI see a new career for you as a talk show host. Move over, Katie and Latifah!
