In our house, spring means one thing: National Pi Day! We, of course, celebrate it as National Pie Day and we pretty much celebrate it all year season long.
Everyone who knows us knows that Michael and I are both big fans of cream pie – and no one does them better than Marie Callender’s. They have eight different flavors, including Banana Cream, Key Lime and the appropriately-named I Love Chocolate Cream Pie – excuse me for drooling on my laptop – but our all-time favorite is Coconut Cream.
In fact, we are so crazy about it, we have started buying the individual pies rather than the large ones because we can’t seem to control ourselves. One slice turns into “just another little sliver,” and, before we know it, we’ve finished the whole thing.
As someone who doesn’t cook, I appreciate that Marie Callender’s cream pies are created with high-quality ingredients and signature special touches like hand-placed chocolate curls and made-from-scratch lattice crust. Their pies smell, taste and look just like homemade!
Although we are purists who are very content with our Marie Callender’s cream pies just the way they are, we decided to make spring even sweeter with a couple of our own little touches.

Yum! Yum! I never ate Marie Callender’s but now? I have to try one. They look absolutely delicious! Plus I loved SEEing you and HEARing you. What an extra treat.
Most of the restaurants near me have closed now but they were always the go-to place for quality food at a reasonable price and the Best piEs ever. The frozen versions are just about as good
YUM!! I do love a good pie. These are so good. I am like you I can’t eat just one slice so these are perfection for me. Now please pass the key lime or chocolate which ever is left.
I like pumpkin, pecan and peach….maybe the ubiquitous apple. I know MARIE makes them yummy!

Marie Callenders pies are some of THE very best. I’ve never had a bad one. I do like to add more REAL chocolate curls to the chocolate satin pie, though. Mmm… mmmmm…!!
I love Marie Callender anything. My mother-in-law is in love with her pot pies but I particularly love her pies like these.
I never knew they made cream pies! I love her pot pies and now I need to try that banana pie and the chocolate one! YUM!!!

Lois, I think Helene may be on to something. You would be great on a non-cook cooking show. You and Marie Callender are a great pair…..and the pies are delicious.

I am in Canada and have never heard of these…but they sure LOOK good and sound yummy too.

I really like Marie Callenders pies. I think adding in a personal touch is always a good idea!

I am not a regular pie person persay but these cream pies I have had and they are terrific. Plus the choices are perfect

YUM! I had no idea Marie Callender made pies! We buy the soups all the time! I will be on the look out for these pies for sure.

I have only had the pot pies from Marie Callender’s, not the regular pie. However, if someone felt the need to send me a Chocolate Cream pie, I would not refuse it!
We used to have a Marie Callenders restaurant near us when we lived in CA and loved ordering pies from them. So glad to be able to pick one up at my local grocery store now that we moved away!
I have never had the privilege of having a marie callenders pie but I am heading to the store now to pick one up!
